Join us for Día de Los Ninos/ Dia de Los Libros 10-Year Anniversary Reception, hosted by Medjool to recognize volunteers, community supporters, funders, activity sponsors and the event organizing committee that have made possible San Francisco's Annual Celebration of Children and Books. In ten years Día de los Niños/Día de los Libros San Francisco has distributed nearly 10,000 bilingual books, 6,000 posters with images created by local artists and hosted over a dozen library author & illustrator events.

Throughout the years, Dia has brought together over 40 local arts and education groups including museums, libraries, local community based organizations, as well as television and radio to host a free afternoon for children and their families to come together around books, music, dance, hands-on activities, and storytelling that reflect the diversity of our city.
