Celebrate LGBT Pride Month with a book!

This June 1st, the Obama White House officially declared June to be Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Month. In the spirit of celebrating not only LGBT pride, but also LGBT families, we’d like to highlight our book Antonio’s Card.
With Mother’s day around the corner and tasked with making a family picture, the young boy examines his feelings about having two mothers. Antonio’s story is an engaging reminder that we are all unique, and that families come in many forms.
Check out the pride festivities that are taking place all across the country this month and throughout the year. For countrywide event listings visit COLAGE (Children of Lesbians and Gays Everywhere); for Bay Area events, visit Our Family Coalition’s site.
