The Children's Literature Festival brings authors from the region and throughout the country together with area children, teachers, librarians, and educators to celebrate children's literature and to share insights and experiences in writing, illustrating, reading and appreciating this genre.

 21st Annual Children's Book Illustrators Exhibit
Sun Gallery presents the 21st Annual Children's Book Illustrators Exhibit. This year the exhibit includes seven prominent professional illustrators, including Children's Book Press' own Carl Angel and Maya Christina Gonzalez. Schools may schedule a study tour (90 Min.) which includes an art project led by an art educator.
