Find Children's Book Press books at the Publishers Group West Booth (#1307). Lucía González, author of The Storyteller's Candle / La velita de los cuentos will be participating in a panel discussion on Saturday, March 27th entitled: Multicultural Programming: Sharing Similarities and Celebrating Difference (8:30 AM - 9:45 AM). Her presentation will be followed by a book signing at the PGW booth.

Alma Flor Ada, author of Let Me Help! / ¡Quiero ayudar! and Lucía González, author of The Storyteller's Candle / La velita de los cuentos will be a featured authors at this year's event. The Children's Literature Festival brings authors from the region and throughout the country together with area children, teachers, librarians, and educators to celebrate children's literature and to share insights and experiences in writing, illustrating, reading and appreciating this genre.

 21st Annual Children's Book Illustrators Exhibit
Sun Gallery presents the 21st Annual Children's Book Illustrators Exhibit. This year the exhibit includes seven prominent professional illustrators, including Children's Book Press' own Carl Angel and Maya Christina Gonzalez. Schools may schedule a study tour (90 Min.) which includes an art project led by an art educator.
